SEIC Ptuj is an applicant and lead partner of the Erasmus + project called Hotel Academy. The project partnership consists of partners from three countries. From Austria, these are the ÖHV Turistic Service of Austria, Wien and the AOT Consulting Wien. From Croatia Aspira Faculty of Management and Design Split and Terme Tuhelj. From Slovenia also Erudio Education Center from Ljubljana joined the partnership.
The Hotel Academy project was selected on the Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships 2018 call for proposals and has received a grant for the development of an online platform for training tourism staff in the wider European area. Although we are aware of the fact that hospitality services can not be learned solely through technology, we also want to contribute to digital transformation and provide a modern teaching tool that will serve both staff training and influences on staff motivation and career promotion in this industry.

The portal will offer online content in four languages: Slovenianm, English, German and Croatian.
The project partnership thus seeks to increase the level of digitalisation, which will be adapted to the needs and conditions of the tourism industry and will consequently contribute to enhancing the development of quality in tourism.

Managing director of SEIC is Nataša Artič, Phd. She has more than 28 years of experience in the field of tourism, and more than 17 years of experience in the field of education in tourism, hospitality and wellness industry.
